Förderverein Juckreizforschung e.V.

Zweck des Vereins ist die Unterstützung der Organisation und Durchführung von Forschungsprojekten und Symposien auf dem Gebiet der Juckreizforschung. Gegründet wurde der gemeinnützige Verein am 29.11.2005 in Heidelberg von Thomas Mettang, Elke Weisshaar, Martin Schmelz, Roman Rukwied, Sonja Ständer, Herrmann Handwerker, Uwe Gieler und Thomas Diepgen.

International Society for the Study of Itch

The International Forum for the Study of Itch (IFSI) is a multidisciplinary international association of clinical practitioners, researchers and scientists dedicated to improving our understanding and treatment of itch for the benefit of suffering patients worldwide. Founded in 2005, the IFSI is a non-profit professional organization with membership open to clinicians, researchers, scientists and other health professionals engaged in the research and treatment of itch. Our mission is to advance itch-related research and education and to promote treatment and clinical efforts to help alleviate this debilitating symptom
